Reverse caps are the ideal solution for demanding applications with particularly tight radii. We manufacture these special 180° pipe fittings in accordance with the factory standard, based on standard EN 10253-2 and individually for your requirements. We are also happy to supply the corresponding weld-in piece to bridge the gap.

The KÖRBER Fittings reversible cap is the ideal solution for applications with particularly tight radii - when conventional pipe bends can no longer be used. Instead of a 180° elbow, we offer our specially manufactured reversing cap in accordance with the KÖRBER factory standard, based on the EN 10253-2 standard. This means that radii below a model 2 can also be realized. We adapt the dimensions, design and material to your individual application or use existing standards.
Heat exchangers and cooling systems, for example, which have a very narrow pipe spacing for high efficiency, are a common application for our reversing caps. Thanks to their small radius, inverted caps make this possible and thus support the realization of compact and efficient plants and systems.
Reversing caps made of steel offer users the opportunity to realize constructions that require a very tight radius. As a model 2 elbow is often not sufficient, our customers like to use our special pipe fitting, the 180° reversed cap. The special feature of this inverted cap is the possibility of implementing a very small radius and thus achieving a small design. The radius can be significantly smaller than that of comparable products such as a model 2 elbow. This is made possible by a special manufacturing process that differs from the production of a Hamburg pipe bend.
Reversing caps are not generally specified in a public standard. The product is therefore manufactured on the basis of an internal manufacturer/works standard. The KÖRBER works standard for a reversible cap is closely based on the EN 10253-2 standard and thus ensures compatibility with common applications in pipeline construction, mechanical engineering and plant construction.
