The KÖRBER story: from tradesman business
to modern industrial enterprise

Founded in 1956 by master locksmith Hans Körber, KÖRBER is now a company managed by the third generation of entrepreneurs. What was once a tradesman's business has now developed into a modern industrial enterprise.

Daniel Körber und Tim Körber join the management board as 3rd generation of entrepreneurs

Portfolio extension by adding various high-quality materials to portfolio

Addition of the company's own high-bay warehouse providing >2,000 pallet spaces

Company succession by Hans-Reinhold Körber

Since 1990, the company has been managed in the second generation by Hans-Reinhold Körber. The development into a future-oriented industrial company was realised not least by the modern high-bay warehouse available since 2001, through which the company can react flexibly to the demands of the market.

1972

Relocation to the new, present-day operating base in Kirchlengern

Solid craftsmanship is still a tradition at KÖRBER today. The former craft business has developed into a modern industrial company. The current location with over 3,000sqm of production space was moved into in 1972.

1956

Founding of the present company as an elbow production plant by Hans Körber

This entrepreneurial tradition was passed down through the generations, so that the master locksmith Hans Körber, grandson of Friedrich Körber, founded the elbow production in Kirchlengern in Westphalia in 1956.

1871

First business activity by Friedrich Körber with a blacksmith's shop

The entrepreneurial activity of the family business KÖRBER goes back to the locksmith's shop founded by Friedrich Körber in 1871. Even then, the Körber family was known and successful for its craftsmanship and inventiveness.
